Non shaven follicular unit extraction hair transplant, more commonly known as fue is a method of extracting each single graft without the need to shave the donor or recipient area`s. It makes for a more tedious procedure to work with the long hairs surrounding each graft to be extracted. Each graft is selected individually, the hair(s) is cut close to the scalp before being extracted with the Fue punch. However, there seems to be a need for some patients who need a procedure that’s undetectable soon after. They wouldn’t consider going with the shaved look. Even if it was temporary.
