I had my 4th to the crown with Dr Farjo 5 weeks ago and some 18 years since my first session with him.
Like you I was slick bald nw6 and like you had the top/front sorted first followed by more density further back.
I still had native(albeit thinnining) hair in crown so didn’t address that but over the last 10 years that went and lateral humps lowered,so reached out to Dr F again and to my surprise I had enough donor for him to perform 2000 FUE into what was quite a large area.
Fear not my man you are in great hands.

yeh, couple of weeks I’ll be on that couch again, having over 4000 stabbings in my head again, looking forward to it.

I’m only 5 weeks out, most of the hair has shed but not all.
Quite liked the bald look again when I left the clinic so kept it at No1 until stuff starts happening.
Yeah I was happy with it until about 5 years ago,if I grew it a little longer it looked ok from the front but catch myself in a photo from the back or side there was just the glaring crown and the sides disconnected from the top.
Hopefully when it grows in it will make a nice improvement,I’m not expecting miracles,never have with my/our nw level. Just want to be a man in his 50s who still has (some) hair lol.

Yes totally agree with you there… better to have some than none at all. Yours looks great, how many grafts have you had in total now.
And did you go to Manchester clinic.
It is nice having hair though, only downside is the bloody mirrors … never looked at em so much in my life ..

With this latest one around 8000 over 18 years.When I first came on these forums all the know it alls said why didn’t I get a big ’one and done‘session?
So glad I didn’t as hair loss is progressive even in high Norwoods and donor has to be managed accordingly.
I did the minox and fin early on but stopped fin due to sides and couldn’t really see any results from minox.I wouldn’t mind giving oral Min a go but read somewhere it can effect the heart in the older gent so I think I’ll give it a miss.

ive read about the side effects, I don’t think it’s worth it at our age. Dr Farjo’s does Seem to know what he is doing, very professional staff, no pain, just a little uncomfortable on ya face but drugged up so was not too bad, how was you’re last one.

Obviously different from the other 3 (all FUT) but yes once the injections took effect no problem but now you mention it did get very uncomfortable face down for that amount of time was so relieved when he said lunchtime (think I fell asleep at one point and woke up mid dribble but caught it before it landed on his feet )

Oral minoxidil or topical??
I wouldn't bother with topical pain in the arse most people stop after time fed up applying it so u lose what u gained
Oral could be good idea but I've not heard it helping donor area before,could do,but are u happy taking meds,if yeah any help to boost ur results is a plus

Theres a reason why the vast majority go through that hassle though, it doesnt have the scary heart effects that oral minox could.

All meds weather topical or oral give u some kinds of side effects including heart issues if it don',t well ain't working.
Different one cos u either choose hair over health issues or bald and no major issue
My opinion u only get say 20% growth or thickness from any kind of treatment that's if you got native hair??
Is it worth it ??? I wish I never had any surgery or even got involved in the hairloss industry
Its all a shame and u convince yourself u have grown back hair
I know guy's I've done all the crap u guys are doing or will be doing but it was all a different name at the time so u all think its a new amazing product in 2024
I'm being honest guy's
