I buzzed my sides & back down to a #1 today to trim up the hair previously covered by staples. Given that I'm not sure I'll ever buzz my donor area down this short again, I thought I would snap a few shots. The first was taken the day of my staple removal, so you can compare it to my new ones & see how much the redness has dissipated just in the past 4 days. There is also a marked difference in the tightness in my scalp just over the past four days. It's getting closer to feeling normal day by day.

BM, ya my donor area itches at times.

how is it possible that there are ALREADY hairs growing through the scar? I thought this didn't occur until (many) months after the ht (?). Is this only temporary; will it only get better?

That's really very good NG2GB. I mean for 2 1/2 weeks that's got to be encouraging for any guys thinking about going for an HT. Knowing what you do now - what would you say to guys like yourself who weren't sure?

NG,

Things look great. Excellent photos. It does appear that hairs are indeed growing thru the scar.

I don't know if it is just me, but scars are the most confusing part of the HT in the early months. They always look wider than they actually are and the tracks from the staples also confuse things. Somehow things tend to sort out.

Your scar looks very good. Thanks for posting.

One Month

Today marks exactly four weeks from my ht; it's gone by really fast. As of yet, I don't think I've shed any considerable amount; though the corners of my hair line do appear thinner than post op, so maybe some there. The quality of these pics really suck (sorry), but I'm tired and wanted to make sure to snap a few exactly at the one month mark so I don't procrastinate and miss any months. I had someone confirm that there is a lot of hair growing in the scar. I have some close up pics of it, and I'll post them when I get them emailed to me. I'm finding it kind of tough to get pics that accurately reflect how everything really looks. When I look in the mirror I can see every hair and every detail; doesn't seem to look as paltry as in the pics.

Baldspot,

being only one month post op & having still not shed my grafts yet, I don't think I could speak to the whole of the procedure, BUT the entire experience has been nothing short of liberating so far; especially the dreaded surgery day--NOTHING about the surgery itself was bad. I seriously loved the experience. It really has been liberating. Just knowing I'm being proactive about my hair loss and not approaching the mirror w/a sense of despair awaiting what "new" and receded look my balls have bestowed & blessed my head w/is an insane feeling; and not to mention having an entire NEW hair line to look at (and forward to) the first month) is nothing short of phenomenal.

Hi Ng

One month now,the first milestone over.

It is hard to tell if you`ve shed much from the pictures,How is your donor area now,is it itching with the hairs coming through.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures.

::}{: Too funny. Things look good NG. Should have guess you would be hanging on for dear life with those little graft babies. Unfortunately they will leave you shortly but then....Life will be good.

Ya it is challenging to get pics that accurately demonstrate things or possibly our little minds play games with us and we see things differently...not sure which.

Thanks for the update. Keep them coming. I can't wait to see the hair porn shots with you and all your sweet little hotties.
