Looking good,at last we see your pictures and what you look like.I was expecting 50 cent by the way you post/write.
The work looks looks great,very neat and tidy.Hopefully the meds will regrow some hair or at the very least keep what you still have.
I expext this to give you a great mop of hair,those babes in the bar wont recognise you in six months,just the waiting game now which does seem to go slow but before you know it you`ll be at 3 months and then 6 months etc.
Its been a long time coming this HT and i`m pleased all your research pay`d off.

¬b` NG2GB---I am dancing around my house right now for you. I know the anguish this whole hairloss and HT thing has caused you and how difficult a decision it was for you. You did good. Things look awesome. You are going to be a hell of a happy Mofo very shortly.
I have to commend you for listening to Dr. Hasson and hopefully your bud NN for not trying to go too low with the hairline. Trust me, you'll be super happy that you did. In my opinion it could have made or broke this result. Density is going to be outstanding.
The hairline chosen is perfect since it will compliment your prior situation and will allow for others to be wondering what the heck has changed for you as it will likely put you back about 6-8 years.
The work is ofcourse stellar and clean as to be expected from H&W. Now the real journey begins. It is definitely a stressful period but exciting at the same time.

Got to admit that looks like one hell of a great HT... with your existing hair, new grafts and meds I think you are going to get one hell of a fantastic result... also, your natural hair colour is going to help no end as there is not much of a contrast with your scalp..

PS.. I know from my pics my hair seems quite thick... cant seem to get a good photo (I know you ask for some more from me in different styles)... but at the moment my density seems very similar to your very first pic on this thread... though I am happy myself with what I now have...

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone. I really don't know what to expect as my final result, but right now Im thrilled knowing I will actually have a hair line and I love looking at how round it is. I'm hoping that the meds thicken up my crown and hopefully maintain my native hair on top for a while; I'm going to probably use rogaine as well. BTW does anyone know how effective fin is at maintaining the lateral humps (sides)? Is it as ineffective there as it is on the top/mid scalp?
NCB- Hasson said the hair line is ~40-50 grafts per sq cm; he said my native tuft probably had ~20-30 for reference. I've been trying to get a close up pic of it, but in the picture you can't see the grafts well and the skin looks all pussie/swollen which it doesn't in person. Anyone else have this problem?
NN-ya I'm very glad we opted for the hair line we did since it didn't jeopordize my density at all, which hopefully will be persian rug thick :T: nah, j/k but hasson did say he packed it really dense. TBH I had a widows peak since I was ~18 so I don't think I would be accustomed to having such a bold/completely round hair line anyway.
Tim-that first pic of me isn't really an accurate depiction of what I looked just before surgery. I think my hair thinned out quite a bit since then, and definitely receded more. Trust me, your post op situation now is MUCH, MUCH more improved than how I was pre op. After all, you didn't have those massive cul-de-sac lanes of highway baldness on the sides of your head...check out my buzzed down pics! ;;D
Hopefully I can get some clear close ups of my babies when my friend comes over, because I'm going to hold a measuring tape across my head to hopefully get a pic of a square centimeter of my grafts before they all fall out.

NN-meh, just a (dude) friend. He wanted to go up to Canada w/me & he lives north of LA so he crashed at my place for a few days before & after; guess that's why he kept coming up in my posts. ;;D
Nope, no "action" as of late, but actually I'm really excited about the fact that I just got out of a looong term relationship (six years) two months before my ht. It was def. a positive thing as I'm much less stressed now & generally in a better mood. I'm going to use this as an opportunity to open a new chapter in my life (especially since I just turned 30). I intend on taking the next six months for myself and making some much needed changes---begin working out regularly to take my mind off my head while I wait for these bad boys to grow in. Then perhaps a touch of botox in the forehead so I can go for those young spring chicks & really enjoy my new freedom :T:

-there's no big scabs, but I guess a TON of tiny scabs.
-the skin appears to be getting pretty dry, which is what that white island looking thing is at the front of my hair line (dry skin).
-it's itchy, but far from intolerable.
-I'm supposed to begin shampooing like normal one week post op w/the goal of having no scabs or excess build up 8-10 days post op as I believe it impedes growth/healing. I am a bit reluctant to massage the area liberally because I don't want to damage the grafts, but apparently the cells are 'locked' in by days 5-7 (?).

btw is it just me, or do the staples look as though they're falling out in certain spots? I'm probably being paranoid.

Length of Strip/Scar-- To give you an idea, if I drew a line from the end of my scar down (towards my jaw) it would end at my side burn. The strip goes past the ears in length, slightly.
Also, the strip is taken a bit higher than I had previously thought. I recall reading a post by Dr. Hasson in which he was explaining how he consistently gets higher graft counts, his explanation was (in part) the location of the strip. He takes the strip AWAY from the ears-higher-where the hair is the most dense; and this is precisely where my strip was taken from. The entire strip is a bit higher in location than I thought it would be. In both the back & the sides it was taken from where my hair was the densest & over all best caliber (I used to check my head very often prior to my ht for where the best hairs were *nl ) which I am very happy about. I really can't imagine the scar being an issue given it's location, as I never keep my hair that short that high up anyway. In addition, Dr. Hasson remarked that my closure was "tight as a drum" & that my skin caliber will heal nicely. I just hope my minor "jog" to catch my plane didn't jar anything. ;;D

NG at 6 days post op its looking good already,the scabs are small,no clusters and i cant see any redness.
As for where your donor strip was removed,i know what you mean as if i let my hair grow it sort of puffs out higher up on the sides where your donor was taken from.
